Our pricing is based on two things, the volume and the weight of the waste we are collecting. Like most waste companies we calculate volume in cubic yards and the weight in kilograms. We know it is not easy for everyone to calculate the size of the waste removal required which is why we also use washing machines as a visual equivalent.
We also have a waste calculator on our website which is is designed to help you choose the correct load size. There are many different variables so be mindful when comparing companies as there are a lot of misleading examples online. At skipmate.com there are no hidden charges.
Some items referred to as eco-items incur a surcharge as Waste Transfer Stations charge extra to dispose of these items due to the materials contained in them. These include mattresses, fridges, TVs, tyres etc. For a full list please see our extras page. If you are aware your waste includes any of these items please select them from the “extra items” section when booking online or inform us when asking for a quote so we can give an accurate price.
If the size of your waste is smaller or larger than the the collection you booked, it is no problem, you only pay for the load size you need. We are flexible and can amend your collection size up or down on the day, either a partial refund or an extra payment will be due.
